6. Horse Lungs
Think about the size of a horse chest. The lungs fill that whole space, from the backbone to the sternum and ribs, and from the pecs back to the diaphragm. Look at this big set next to a vet. It’s almost as big as a lechon.
7. Highway Signs
The photo was taken when high winds tossed some highway signs across Howard County roads across I20 in Big Spring. Can you believe that the signs are bigger than your car?
8. Michelangelo’s David
Meet the famous David, sculpted from one of the most famous artists of all time, Michelangelo. The statue of David stands 17 feet tall and weighs 12,478 pounds, or in other words just over 6 TONS! It took Michelangelo a two full years of constantly working on the project to complete it. Don’t forget, this was completed all the way back in 1501 and the statue is still in amazing shape for being over 500 years old.
9. Rosetta Comet vs. City of Los Angeles
Just by looking at the size of this comet, we don’t even want to think about this one landing on earth. For sure, it will wipe away everyone and everything.
10. Fully Grown Wombat
An adult Wombat can be as large as 4 feet long and weigh as much as 80 pounds! They resemble a hamster or gerbil, but on a massive scale. The Wombat is actually considered a marsupial and is related to the Kangaroo and Tasmanian Devil (yes those are a real thing).
